Lisbon Marriott Hotel

The room was a nice size with a safe, TV, and a refrigerator.

Suitable for celebrating anniversary. Modern and reasonably clean traditional hotel. Comfy and quiet location next to the pool/garden area as well as Very near to the airport, only 5 minutes walk from a business school.

Lovely views, loved good and decent setting.

The restaurant was nice for dinner, I tried wonderful dishes.

Comfortable beds. Personable staff. Good breakfast selection. The garden is an oasis of calm in the City

Hate to be overcharged for the bottle of water in the room! Add a euro per night to the room rate and leave a bottle of water complimentary. Also, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, why?

The beds are very comfortable, the staff excellent.

No coffee making facilities in the room, this I would exect as standard. Also recommended resturant by staff just over the bridge which was so disappointing and expensive, we have just arrived so had no choice but to stay there, did spoil the start to the weekend.

Location, but still easy to get to the center of Lisbon by metro.

There was obviously some infrastructure problems during my stay. Hot water was missing one day due to a briken pipe (happens I guess) and the elevators was totally overloaded during mornings. One elevator was out of service and the capacity was clearly suffering from this. I heard many people complaining that they had to wait for 10-15 minutes before the elevator showed up.

The Pool and staff.

That you charge for wi-fi and at such a high rate. I just had stayed in Sagres for 10 days at a 3 star hotel with no charge for wi-fi. I feel that you are "gouging" your clients. Also, most of the time we are only confirming our flights and making arrangements to be picked up at the other end! Didn't charge me for printing my boarding pass, but charged me for the internet use to get it. That's just robbery!

Great swimming pool (although not enough sun loungers to go around!) - good selection of food for breakfast (not enough selection on the bar food though, if one wanted a budget meal) - ALL staff seemed to be able to speak English (hurray!) - room was wonderful, clean, well-facilitated, comfortable (mini bar could have had a better selection though, for food and drinks, especially for soft drinks and non-fatty foods).

The location is very complex if coming from a metro station. I ended up walking along the hard shoulder of motorways more than once, not easy when you have your suitcase to tow as well. Hotel could make it clearer what is the safest metro station (cidade universitaire), and how to get there from hotel easily.

Excellent conference facilities with excellent catering.

The air conditioning in the room was quite loud and could not be turned off.

Had a nice stay on vacation and would stay here again. The breakfast was exceptional and lovely and the entire staff was immensely pleasant. I booked a room with an extremely comfy bed, a work desk, coffee and tea making equipment, and TV.

The room was spotlessly clean and soundproof and I greatly enjoyed the traditional-style building.

The location was not very good, it's a pitty.

Sauberkeit , Ice - machine on the floor

I wanted to check in at 1 p.m. and was told , I had to be wating untill 2.pm!.Saying I need a shower beacuase of unbereably heat outside ,a young lady at the reception told me , it is not her business.Only when i wanted to cancell my reservation I got the room immediately ( the hotel has about 600 rooms ..2 of 4 lifts didn't work.

Great choice for families, solid experience

The pool area was a real highlight. Fresh towels were handed out like it was a five-star resort and the DJ spinning relaxed tunes made the whole vibe perfect for unwinding.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but honestly it met expectations.

We had an executive room and the facilities in the executive dining/bar were excellent.Pool area also very pleasant and relaxing

No - although on arrival we were put in an executive room which was charged at a higher rate than our original booking (154 euros as opposed to 126 euros) and we were not advised that this would be the case when we arrived. We did however enjoy the additional facilities so this is not a problem but I think the extra charges should be mentioned beforehand.
